Cockington Green Gardens, as part of Floriade Re-imagined, will be holding a most unique event on Sunday, 11th October 2020, from 6.00 pm until 8.00 pm.
We are joining with RSPCA Canberra and hosting our first ever ‘Dogs Night In‘ event where Dogs and their people will be able to stroll around our beautiful display and take in the sights, sounds and smells of springtime in the Capital.
Some fun activities will be available, prizes will be kindly provided by the RSPCA. We will be looking for best dressed dog, longest tail, biggest and smallest dogs and fastest sitter.
The RSPCA will also be on hand to answer questions about their programs and the other great work they do in the ACT. There will also be RSPCA merchandise for sale and donations will be gratefully accepted. Every dog that attends will be donating $5 through its admission cost to the RSPCA.
This is the first time Cockington Green will be hosting a dog-friendly event, so bring your pooch, hopefully on its best behaviour and your poo bags and let’s send Floriade 2020 Re-imagined off with woof!
Our Coffee shop will be open for light refreshments and our Miniature Steam-Train will be operating (for human customers only) by gold coin donation to the RSPCA.
