Queensland COVID Outbreak Update

Cockington Green - March 29, 2021

The ACT Government Acting Chief Health Officer has issued a Public Health Notice which is effective from 12noon, Sunday 28th March 2021 which relates to people who have been in Brisbane since March 11.

Any person who has visited Greater Brisbane since 11 March 2021 needs to get COVID tested and remain in self isolation until they get a negative test result. Furthermore, if you have been in the Greater Brisbane area on or after 11 March 2021, you will need to complete an online declaration.

There have been a number of areas determined as areas of concern in Greater Brisbane for which anyone visiting these areas need to get tested and quarantine for 14 days.

In meeting our obligations at Cockington Green Gardens, we will need to be reassured by visitors who have been in Queensland or reside in Queensland that they have either not visited affected areas and/or have met the Acting Chief Health Officer’s directive relating to testing, self-isolation and quarantining.

Further information regarding the requirements of travellers who are visiting the ACT and have been in Greater Brisbane since March 11 can be found in the links below.

We thank everyone for their ongoing cooperation and look forward to this latest situation being resolved as soon as possible.
