Cockington Green Gardens advises that Worksafe ACT and police investigations remain ongoing to establish the cause of the derailment of the miniature steam-train on Thursday, 28th September 2023.

It is further advised that passengers who were impacted as a result of the incident all travelled home on Thursday.

Cockington Green Gardens has maintained contact with the tour operators and the family and friends of people involved in the incident. The well being of those involved remains our primary concern as does the well-being of our staff who responded to the incident.

Cockington Green Gardens is cooperating fully with Worksafe ACT and the police investigating the incident.

It is advised that the train will not be operating until further notice.
