Update on Bookings & Visitor Restrictions

Cockington Green - August 17, 2020

Our last update on 23rd July 2020 indicated that bookings were not required to enter Cockington Green Gardens. Whilst this is still currently the case, in order for us to meet and manage our obligations in relation to Coronavirus-COVID19 in the busier times, a new booking system is being developed for implementation by early to mid-September.

Priority entrance will be provided to visitors with bookings although depending on visitor numbers, it may still be possible to accept visitors without bookings.

We will publish information as soon as more details are available regarding the system which will include session times and limited numbers of people admitted during session times. The session times and number limitations will also impact on the number of rides we are able to provide on the miniature steam-train. Again, more information will be provided once details are finalised.

In this new COVID-world, there has been so much adjustment required to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Keeping everyone safe is our highest priority and we continue to take advice from both the Federal and Territory Governments and health authorities. We thank everyone for their patience as we continue to make adjustments to stop the spread of Coronavirus-COVID19.

As advised previously, unfortunately we are still unable to receive visitors from Victoria and various hotspots in New South Wales. If you have been to any location where you need to self-isolate, then we are currently unable to admit you to Cockington Green Gardens. You can find the latest hotspot information for NSW at https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates#latest-covid-19-case-locations-in-nsw

If you are in any doubt about visiting, call us on 02 6230 2273 before arriving. Again, we thank everyone for their cooperation.
